JP Miller Had 14 Months Before the Feds Charged Him — What He Did

Mica Miller died in April 2024. The federal indictment didn't arrive until December 2025. Between those two dates, every structure around JP Miller collapsed — and he allegedly rebuilt on new ground before the government caught up.

Solid Rock Church was sold for $2.1 million. The congregation of seven hundred became fifteen. His closest allies issued public statements claiming distance. And in June 2025, Miller married for the third time — to a woman whose own first husband, a quadriplegic Army veteran, had drowned in a community pool four years earlier. That death was ruled accidental. His family has raised questions.

Miller faces one count of cyberstalking and one count of making false statements to federal investigators. Prosecutors allege he harassed Mica from November 2022 through her death — tracking devices, fifty-plus daily contacts, financial interference, and an intimate image posted without consent. Miller has pleaded not guilty, denies the allegations, and has not been charged in Mica's death. She was thirty and had filed for divorce two days before. Her death was ruled a suicide. Trial is October 2026.

The "carewashing" defense — prosecutors say Miller told agents tracking Mica was about protecting her. And the third marriage, barely a year after the second wife died, to a woman whose husband also died.

The alleged pattern didn't stop. It allegedly started over with new people.
