West Haven is moving forward with new noise detection devices aimed at loud vehicles along shoreline neighborhoods. The city plans to install four devices on existing cameras, alerting police when vehicles exceed the noise limit. The first violation could bring a 100-dollar fine, with repeat offenses costing more.
