Caleb Flynn Court Coverage Day 4: Alleigha Botner Reveals WHAT He Wrote?!

Alleigha Botner’s afternoon testimony focused the jury on messages prosecutors are using in the case against Caleb Flynn for the death of his wife, Ashley Flynn. Botner testified that a February 2025 message from Caleb read, “I need her to die, leave, or cheat again.” 

She also told jurors she sent Caleb instructions on deleting messages because she believed communications between them could be subpoenaed during a divorce. Botner then read another exchange in which she asked what he wanted her to do and testified that he answered, “Kill Douche.” 

The state moved through portions of what Botner described as 34 books of messages between the two. She testified that other messages included statements from Caleb saying he hated Ashley and wanted her dead. Prosecutors also showed videos Botner said Caleb sent her. 

Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including aggravated murder. Prosecutors allege Ashley was killed at the couple’s Tipp City home and the scene was staged to resemble a home invasion. The defense says the home invasion was real and investigators rushed to judgment. 

Botner’s testimony continues Thursday, with more of those communications still to come before the jury.
