Caleb Flynn's Defense Found THIS in Botner's Search History

Emily Smith's first question to Alleigha Botner on cross-examination was about her Google history. The Caleb Flynn trial had spent two days on his messages; the defense spent its first two minutes on hers, the searches she ran on February 17 and 19, 2026, days after Ashley Flynn was shot in her sleep.

The defense getting Botner to agree she has more messages wishing Ashley gone than the jury heard, then getting her to say she never believed Caleb meant it: "I don't think he could ever be capable." And the close, where she admits she suspected Caleb the morning Ashley died, went to the Smiths' house anyway so she wouldn't "look suspicious," told no one for days, and confirms police never searched her apartment or car, never collected DNA or prints, never charged her, and never promised her anything.

Caleb Flynn is accused of shooting his wife twice in the head on February 16, 2026 and staging an intruder. He has pleaded not guilty.
