Melissa in the Morning: Mumblings about Rumble Strips

One Connecticut town has rumblings about rumble strips. Vernon is now considering a quieter way to make Route 527 safer. The state wants to install centerline “rumble strips” after 90 crashes were reported on the road over three years. But residents have raised concerns about noise. Jim Cameron of Talking Transportation talked to us about a newer design idea called “mumble strips.”
