Was Caleb Flynn’s Mistress Pressuring Murder — or Just a Divorce?

The public is fighting over one question about the Caleb Flynn murder trial: was his mistress pressuring him toward murder, or toward divorce? Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott tells Tony Brueski both readings miss the most dangerous part of this case.

The public knows the destination — Ashley Flynn shot twice in the head while sleeping. Scott maps the road. Then Scott turns the question: if Flynn had chosen Ashley, how much danger was Botner in? She held every text, every admission, every escalation. She was both the most powerful person in Flynn’s orbit and the most exposed. Scott traces the danger that ran in both directions — and identifies the exact behavioral marker that separates an unstable affair from a lethal situation.
