Melissa in the Morning: Lymph Scanner

According to national reports, about 1 in 5 women get lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. There’s a new tool in the toolkit for breast cancer patients in Connecticut. St. Vincents Medical Center is the first in the state to offer a Lymph Scanner. We spoke with Breast Surgeon Dr. Valerie Brutus of Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
