Could Bryan Kohberger's Own Filing Make His Situation WORSE?

Kohberger's post-conviction case depends on proving his attorneys failed him. He accused Anne Taylor of hiding evidence and lying about death row to scare him into a plea. Filing that claim waived attorney-client privilege — every conversation they had for three years is now exposed. Taylor filed a sealed memo before the plea warning Hippler that Kohberger couldn't comprehend adverse rulings. Hippler denied the continuance request. Kohberger pleaded guilty weeks later and is now using the same argument against Taylor that she put on the record herself. If she testifies, she carries the transcript where Kohberger said he was satisfied, initialed every provision, and admitted guilt under oath. Former defense expert Brent Turvey said Taylor and her team need to answer under oath. Eric Faddis, defense attorney and former prosecutor, joins Tony to walk through whether Kohberger's own accusation could backfire and make his case worse than the day he filed the petition.
