Another day in the adventure of Fatherhood
It is the only adventure! There is nothing more fulfilling in my life than watching my Son grow. Your worries are normal, I spent an hour outside the nursery in tears because he(my son)had worked himself up so much. I felt as though he felt I had abandoned him! Maybe it's different for people like me, those who have spent years of their life trying to conceive. Only to be told it wouldn't happen. My wife and I researched all the nurserys in our area and in the end decided on one outside our immidiate catchment due to great reports and the fact that it was staffed by grown women! Great to hear you as always Christian.
All fathers should listen carefully to this song! Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin! You are the best dad and he is very lucky to be your son! I take great pleasure in your posts and pictures!
wonderful and refreshing! I can totally relate to this boo seeing as I am a Father of a 1yr old! GOD bless and protect you and yours, Jamesglory

Thank you, @Savvy.
I listen to 100's of boos and I always remembered this as perhaps the most perfect example of using location, image and audio - your simple, personal story is beautiful. The image is actually a beautifully evocative, rich part of the story. The absence of grass, dead, mirrors your feelings on the absence of your dad - and the location tells us where you live. Truly beautiful. Thank you!
I empathize, Randal. We of a certain age have had such emotional subtractions.
