Rio was so excited to be invited back to New Broadcasting House in London by BBC Radio 5 Live to do another interview (following the interview he did on New Year's Eve 2014 after he won the Watford's Local Hero competition and switched on the Xmas lights with Watford FC at intu Watford - also uploaded onto AudioBoom) - this time it was to celebrate one year to go until the Rio 2016 Paralympics which will start on 7th Sept 2016!

Rio had so much fun talking about his ParalympicsGB and Comitê Paralímpico Brasileiro - CPB heroes - Jonnie Peacock and Alan Fonteles Cardoso de Oliveira - and his excitement for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games - and then Sarah Brett sprung the best surprise ever on Rio when she introduced Jonnie who was with her in the BBC Salford studio to join in the conversation!

Rio also talked about playing Human Fussball at Camp No Limits in Maine and his magical meeting with Winter the amputee dolphin at Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) - an audio clip of our special meeting with CMA CEO David Yates has been included in the broadcast!
