LEATHER GETS ADORABLE Not all leather home decoration items have to be boring and stuffy! Just when you want to dismiss all leathery products as elderly and conventional, along pops up a little store that completely changes the way you view things. It may never have occurred to you that leather could be "cute", but one visit to Rein shop at Central Plaza Grand Rama 9, F floor, may just give you ideas. The little shop within the arcade near Tops supermarket houses products by Rosier, which is a brand of leather goods from Japan, but is produced in Thailand. There's only one word needed to describe this brand's persona: endearing. Little animals of all sorts are meticulously detailed onto the fine patchwork of different objects _ it's all very kiku (but with taste!). What really caught our eye though, is their line of accessories/jewellery boxes that look like little houses. Prices may be on the hefty side, but considering the originality and craftsmanship, you might just make it one of your heirlooms. All products are made from cow skin so keep them dry, shine with mink oil every now and then and stay away from pens and ink!
