The North East - The Safest Place To Give Birth In England.

The loss of a child at any age is devastating but losing a child at birth can be a harrowing experience for any parent to go through.

However our region has the lowest rate of still births in England and we also now have the lowest rates for infant deaths as well.

BBC Tees's David Rhodes has been looking at why having a baby here in the North East is the safest place to do so in the country.
