EDU 313: Online Education Resources Part 1

This week we’re gonna jump into some really great Internet education resources. I understand you all know how to use the Internet but with this week and the following week we’ll do is point you to some really great and free teaching resources. To get started with this week, you’re going to want to first click on the “start here” link which will walk you through a short tutorial that shows you all of the content for this week and the expectations for what you’ll go through. It’ll show you where all the tutorials are for this week as well as an accompanying document that will go along with those tutorials. This document has links to all sorts of really great resources like images and videos, lesson plans and activities, games, templates and so on. We’re going to spend some time going through these and showing you just what’s out there and available free for you to use as a teacher. And you’re going to want to hold on to this Word document. You’ll not only going to use it for this class, but I promise you it will helpful for you maybe as a student moving forward but definitely as you’re out teaching in the classroom. I’ve had students come back and ask me to send them an updated version of this so really download this one and hold onto it for future use. So this week again we’ll be starting out with education resources and all the things that are available to you as teachers and things you can share with parents and your students.
