Police in Denmark are concerned about extreme Islamists recruiting gang members. They’ve described the radicalisation of young criminals as a dangerous cocktail. Twenty percent of the Danish jihadis who’ve fought in Syria are gang members. Some integration campaigners claim gangsters are trying to enforce Sharia law in ghettos across the country by intimidating women who refused to cover up by wearing a scarves and modest clothing.
