RSA Weekly Stats 18th March 2015

I’m Christina Donnelly, and I’m reading the weekly stats this week. 1,250 – the number of people charged with drink driving so far this year.

My beautiful son Brendan was killed suddenly by a drunk driver and the only way I can feel close to him is by ringing his voicemail.

The pain is unbearable.

I’m a different person since that night. When someone gets into their car after even one drink and ploughs straight into your son it is more than a crash it is devastation. They have ploughed right through people’s lives forever. Nothing will ever be the same again.

These numbers are real people. Don’t be one of them.
