General election 2015: Inverclyde

Inverclyde has been in Labour hands almost continuously since 1936. The town of Greenock was once world renowned for ship-building. But industrial decline hit this community hard and where Labour could once rely on people's vote, the independence referendum has galvanised support for the SNP.
