For the #WhisperingNeds prompt, week of 13-19 September 2015. The prompt is a "Random Point," where you open a book and point, eyes closed, and then become inspired by what you find.

My chosen book was "Capote in Kansas" by Ande Parks (w) and Chris Samnee (p), about Truman Capote's life in Kansas while doing research for "In Cold Blood." He left a changed man. The panel pictured is a part of Capote's conversation with the convicted murderer. I cannot recommend this book highly enough, even though it shares very little common ground with the poem. :-)
