(Broadcast on BBC Radio Stoke, October 2015) It's been a year since two men were killed in an explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Stafford.

Simon Hillier and Stewart Staples, both from Cannock, died when the SP Plastics building in Baswich went up in flames.

In the weeks after the disaster BBC Radio Stoke met one victim of the blaze who escaped with his life but a business valued at one million pounds.

Brian Stanfield ran Care Clothing in the next building and spent seventeen weeks in hospital being treated for severe burns.
