If you were to rank the most challenging jobs a person can do as a career - I reckon you'd rank being a paramedic high up the list.

Not only have you got to have the medical skills but also the driving ability to get through traffic and to emergencies within 8 minutes -- something the West Midlands Ambulance Service achieves in 4 out of 5 cases.

But how much of a challenge is that across Staffordshire's cities and vast rural spaces?
