“Beethoven and all those guys had wild thoughts.” Yo-Yo Ma

Have you ever listened to a symphony by Beethoven? Or looked at a painting by Picasso? Or read a poem by Langston Hughes, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, or Gwendolyn Brooks? When you experience the work of an artist, you get a glimpse into his or her wild thoughts. And you may find yourself having some wild thoughts of your own. Many artists turn to other artists for inspiration.

Today I’ll appreciate (and maybe create) a work of art.
