New palliative care unit in Liverpool

End of life care is not a topic many of us like to talk about... But if you or a member of your family become terminally ill, palliative care is a necessary and valuable service. The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust has officially opened a new Academic Palliative Care Unit which has been treating patients since January I went along to have a look around with the manager of the service Deborah Murphy .
