It may seem silly, but telling yourself “I think I can . . .” really works. It puts you in the mood to succeed. It raises your self-esteem. This is an example of positive self-talk. You can use positive self-talk to help solve problems. You’re more likely to make good decisions when you’re feeling good about yourself.
