When we hear the word consequences, we usually think of something unpleasant. (As in, “You did it! Now you’ll have to suffer the consequences.”) But consequences don’t have to be bad. The original meaning of the word was “something that follows closely.” Bad doesn’t follow good. If your actions are positive and right, the consequences will be, too.
TODAY I’ll think ahead about the consequences of my actions.
