Cheese. Chocolate chip cookies. Coca-Cola. Penicillin. Post-it Notes. Dynamite. What do they have in common? All were discovered or invented by mistake. According to authors Judy Galbraith and Jim Delisle, there are at least five reasons why mistakes are great. Here are the first three: 1. Mistakes are universal. Everybody makes them. 2. Mistakes show that you’re learning. They inspire you to do better next time. 3. Mistakes show that you’re trying something new or different.
TODAY I won’t be afraid to make a mistake.
