bus= 巴士=bā shi (or) bus=公交车=gōng jiāo chē
subway/metro= 地铁=dì tiě
taxi= 的士= dí shì
car= 私家车=sī jiā chē
coach/Long - distance bus= 长途大巴= cháng tú dà bā
boat= 船= chuán
airplane= 飞机= fēi ji
to take ( a transport)= 坐...= zuò… e.g: to take a bus= 坐巴士=zuò bā shi
**only for taxi, we have another verb" dǎ": take a taxi= 打的= dǎ di take a taxi= 打车= dǎ chē
