Imagine, for a moment, a perfect world . . . . What would there be to do? No problems to solve. No causes to believe in. Nobody to help. Luckily, says Barbara Lewis, author of The Kid’s Guide to Social Action, “the real world is chock-full of real problems to solve . . . . Isn’t it exciting for you that all these problems haven’t already been solved? Could you think of anything more boring than growing up in a world where everything had already been done?”
