Campaigning is well and truly underway in the Stoke on Trent Central by election - and some of the big hitters were in Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.

The Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn paid a visit to the city. He told us it was the first of many visits he expects to make here -- as his party campaigns to hold the vacant parliamentary seat of Stoke Central, following the resignation of Tristram Hunt.

He arrived at a rally in Hanley, introduced to the stage by the candidate for February's by-election, Councillor Gareth Snell.
