County Council Election: Could Staffordshire predict the result of #GE2017?

(Broadcast on BBC Radio Stoke, May 2017) With all the attention being on the snap general election in the next few weeks it may have slipped your mind that we've got some more voting to do tomorrow.

This time tomorrow polling booths will be open across Staffordshire as voters elect their County Councillor for the next four years.

All 62 seats are up for grabs at the authority -- which the Conservatives have controlled since 2009, despite decades of Labour leadership before that.
