You can have a ton of stuff and still feel empty inside. If you’re not doing anything meaningful with your life—if you don’t have goals to work toward, if you’re not learning and growing and reaching out—all the material things in the world won’t matter. On the other hand, it doesn’t take money or possessions to touch someone else’s life with kindness or service. And the satisfaction that comes from that can make you feel like the world’s richest person.

TODAY I’ll decide if I’m prosperous or poor.
