Expert: Local production key to stabilizing South Sudan economy

A Director in the National Bureau of Statistics says the people of #SouthSudan will have to start producing locally to experience what he calls “economic revitalization.”
David Chan Thiang, the Director of Economic Statistics says the hyperinflation the country is experiencing has been exacerbated by lack of hard currency and dependency on goods from neighboring countries.
He says local production is key to stabilizing the economy.
