93 - LAPD History in Celebration

From the North Hollywood shootout to the kidnapping of Patty Hearst, to the first LAPD chief. Roberto (Bob) Alaniz has stories to tell. He's an LAPD sergeant and on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Police Museum and the Los Angeles City Historical Society. 

In this episode of Olympic & Bundy, host Christine Devine sits down with Alaniz, a Los Angeles Police Department sergeant assigned to Northeast Los Angeles Police Station.  In his 38 years with the LAPD, Mr. Alaniz has an active interest in local history and history.

We talk with Alaniz as the museum hosts its 2019 Jack Webb Awards on Friday, September 27, 2019, and the LAPD soon marks its 150th anniversary.
