Ep1: Creativity Saved My Life - Susie Pearl

Season 2,   Aug 03, 2020, 04:00 AM

This weeks guest is Susie Pearl - author, podcaster and writer about creativity, positive living and keeping happy.

A very warm welcome back to The Mojo Podcast - it's wonderful to be back with the second series of the show that goes in search of the meaning of mojo and looks to understand this vital essence.

Every week I talk to a diverse group of brave and fascinating guests about their own mojo story. My guests openness leads to revealing and inspiring conversations for you to hear and, as part of my mission, to use these tips and ideas to work on your own mojo.

And my very first guest of series two has a miraculous mojo story to share.

Susie Pearl is an author, podcaster and writer about creativity, positive living and keeping happy. She has a long and successful track record in the entertainment and PR industry. If there is an 'A lister' you can think of, Susie has no doubt met and worked with them. She's been around creatives and mavericks her whole life.

She's also a survivor. After being diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumour, Doctors gave Susie 6 weeks to live. But she fought back and we talk about her approach to life as a result of winning that battle.

And we talk at length about one of the projects that was born out of her cancer experience - her new book - The Art of Creativity – 7 powerful habits to unleash your full potential.

You can find out much more about Susie via her website and also order a copy of the book with is launched this week.

And as I also mentioned, there is now some music to go with these mojo stories. I've asked all my guests to date to select just one song that really fuels their mojo. You can find the Spotify playlist here
