Football Plane Crashes of 1970 | Wichita State and Marshall

What should have been routine flights moving football teams from one city to another, turned tragic? As in the fall of 1970; only one month apart, two cities would lose a majority of their college football teams in separate plane crashes. Today crashes that claimed the lives of Wichita State and Marshall University.
