This series sees us follow the adventures of a private eye, a detective, based on the hit selling books written in 1939.

This series sees us follow the adventures of a private eye, a detective, based on the hit selling books written in 1939.
Titled the Hard BOILED Crime story collection – with the lead Philip Marlowe himself, a wisecracking, hard-drinking, tough private eye, Marlowe is contemplative, philosophical and loves chess and poetry. Unafraid of danger or physical harm, he does not dish out violence merely to settle scores, but to teach those who pit themselves against him, a lesson.
