First Vice President, Riek Machar officially opens Governors' Forum in Juba

The First Vice President directed the state governors to move quickly to inaugurate their state assemblies as an important step to moving the peace process forward. On the implementation of transitional security arrangements, the First Vice President urged the national legislature to move quickly to enact the new security laws to allow for the smooth graduation and deployment of the necessary unified forces.
