The Ember Temperature Controlled Mug. This mug, available in black or white, has an internal battery which recharges from an accompanying saucer and, by connecting to the app, will heat up to a desired temperature and then maintain that temperature for 90 minutes on battery or all day if left on the saucer. The app will even monitor your caffeine intact. It scored 4 out of 5
The Withings Move ECG wristwatch. This health tracking watch looks like a conventional analogue watch but features activity and sleep tracking as well as a heart-rate and ECG monitor, it connects to the Withings smartphone app and can create PDFs of the ECG records for you to give to your GP. With 12 months' battery life and no charging, it's an impressive and stylish gadget which scored 4 out of 5
The Anker Nebula Solar Portable. This 1080p full HD portable projector can create an image up to 120 inches with HDR quality and features the Android operating system to allow the running of Android apps, though you can still pair a device and stream to it, along with Bluetooth for connecting external speakers. It scored 4 out of 5
