Man Shoots Elderly Neighbor With Bow and Arrow | True Crime Daily Brief

In Arizona, a 33-year-old man is accused of shooting his elderly neighbor with a bow and arrow while he sat on a walker's seat.

Officers responded to a home on Kawakawa Street in Puna around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, after receiving a report about a man bleeding from his neck in a wheelchair. His neck was bleeding from a "laceration-type injury" when police found him unconscious in a walker seat in his driveway.

The man was resuscitated by police and other emergency personnel but was pronounced dead at Hilo Medical Center. Charles Hacker, 86, was identified as the victim by Hawaii Police.

Cameron Stewart was arrested and identified as the suspect. The Hawaii County Prosecutor's Office announced on July 1 that Stewart had been charged with second-degree mAn investigation by Hawaii Police revealed that Stewart and Hacker are neighbors, and Stewart recently moved to the island from Arizona. Police reportedly found a recurve bow, arrow, and archery-related items in Stewart's house.

He's being held on one million dollars bond.
