Aug 29, 2022, 09:52 PM

Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective, joins Sarah Walker on BBC Radio Berkshire to discuss technology and cake. On this week's show; It's walnut and carrot cake, full details in the show, plus Google are aiming to use 'prebunking' to help internet users learn to recognise fake news and disinformation.

Gadget of the Week is the MetaCat from Elephant Robotics. This realistic looking life-size smart robot cat is ideal for a broad range of users, from children of 3 and up, but can be of particular benefit to those who cannot have pets for various reasons, or suffer from dementia. Though unable to walk about, it meows and purrs, can move its tail, has LED screens for eyes, and mimics the behaviour of a real cat by responding to sensors that detect stroking, movement, and sound, and comes with a grooming brush. Available with and without a bell and dress, this innovative bundle of cuteness scored
