Ep 269: Mind and the Cost of Living crisis

Oct 24, 2022, 05:00 AM

After a tumultuous week, financially and politically Mick takes a look at new findings from Mind about how the cost of living crisis is impacting our mental health and our ability to connect with people.

Recorded before the resignation of Liz Truss, but amid the backdrop of high fuel prices, reduced support on energy prices, mortgage rate increases, and inflation topping 10%, it's no surprise Mind has found a big increase in the number of people worrying about the current circumstances.

You can support the work Mind does in campaigning on these issues on their website including their petition to increase Universal Credit in line with inflation.
