One of "dual mandates": stabilizing prices.
Umm...
uhh...
Stabilized prices since 1913?
After we laugh at the inherent tragic comedy, we look at specific numbers and compare to what happened before this wonderful mechanism to make sure we're all doing okay got put in place.
And what it REALLY is doing, by not (even coming close to) fulfilling its mandate.
Wait.. mandate.... doesn't that mean price stabilization is MANDATORY???
