Alex Murdaugh’s lawyer objected immediately after a former law firm colleague testified the disgraced lawyer texted her about his rehab visit in September 2021. “This is a bridge we have to cross at some point,” prosecutor Creighton Waters said after stating that Murdaugh’s alleged drug use will come up in future testimony.
