A Pennsylvania man is in jail after allegedly confessing to raping, killing, and concealing the body of his girlfriend's 12-year-old daughter in a freezer, according to authorities.
According to the Lancaster County District Attorney's office, Jason Shackelford was charged with criminal homicide in the killing of his former girlfriend's 12-year-old daughter, who he put in a freezer. Lancaster County Coroner said Elaina Smith, 12, died as a result of strangulation. Her death was ruled a homicide.
