The Courage to Share: Embracing Vulnerability in Your Writing

Season 1, Episode 1,   Mar 06, 2023, 12:01 AM

In this episode, you'll learn how to embrace vulnerability as a writer and feel more courageous.

How do you cope with vulnerability as a writer? Are you comfortable with it, or does it make you squirm?

If you’re the latter, you’re not alone.

But to become the writer you aspire to be, you’ll need to add vulnerability to your writing toolkit to get your work out there and into the hands of your readers.

The question is, how can you do it?

In this podcast episode - the very first one - I’ll be sharing my advice on vulnerability, including:

  • Research from Brené Brown on why we feel vulnerable - it’s not what you think!
  • Why courage and acceptance play a huge part in this process
  • Some simple ways to embrace vulnerability on your writing journey - particularly if you need to ease yourself in!
I hope you enjoy this episode and it’s given you the courage and motivation to start sharing your work with others.
