Bryan Kohberger Wasn't The Internet's First Suspect?!

Long before Bryan Kohberger was arrested, the internet had already blamed someone else, a young man grieving the woman he loved, largely because he called her phone repeatedly that terrible morning, for reasons that turn out to be entirely innocent once the full timeline comes out. We explain why the surviving roommates' hours-long delay before calling 911 doesn't prove what people think it does, what their private writings actually reveal, the theory that they were spared because they were involved, and why a judge dismissed the internet's alternate suspects as rank speculation.

Kohberger's genetic material on the knife sheath left in a victim's bed wasn't a faint trace, the lab says, it was hundreds of times more material than a typical case produces, a detail that undercuts the planting theory more than anything else in this case.
