What Nancy Guthrie's Ransom Notes Convinced The FBI Of

Three FBI sources. Three different answers. One question: are the ransom notes in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping real? On the same day in July, Reuters, the Phoenix field office, and TMZ's sources each gave the public a different version of the same evidence. 
Tony Brueski breaks down what each version would mean for the case. If every note is fabricated, six months of investigating may have been built on a theory that never held up. If some are genuine, the Bureau has information it hasn't shared publicly. And if federal sources can't agree internally, every decision made since Nancy vanished from her Tucson home in January rests on a foundation nobody actually trusts. 
The disagreement surfaced the same week Savannah Guthrie posted a message to her mother's abductor that sounded nothing like the six months of messages before it — no demand for proof of life, no we're ready to talk, just something that sounded like she already knows how this ends. 
Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer has posted a ten-point public challenge to investigators. One of her questions still has no answer. 
Six months. 150 agents. Over 13,000 tips. Zero suspects named. And now the Bureau can't even agree with itself on what the evidence says.
