It's finally here—the first TSO Wednesday Night Preview Show of the 2026 ECU Football season!

We're excited to welcome former ECU tight end Jay Sonnhalter to talk Pirate Football and take a look at the upcoming season. How good can the Pirates be in 2026? What are the keys to a successful season, and what will it take for ECU to compete for a championship?

We'll also begin our breakdown of the Pirates' season-opening opponent, Alabama. Tonight, we're taking an early look at the Crimson Tide offense—the quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and offensive line that ECU could see when the Pirates travel to Tuscaloosa. Alabama's 2026 staff is led by Kalen DeBoer, with Ryan Grubb serving as offensive coordinator.

Then, next Wednesday night, we'll turn our attention to the other side of the ball with our preview of the Alabama defense and special teams.
