The full panel breakdown of the Caleb Flynn murder case. A jury convicted the former American Idol contestant and worship leader on all nine counts for the murder of his wife Ashley. Prosecutors argued he shot her in the back of the head while she slept and staged a home invasion in their Tipp City home. Their daughters were in the next room. Flynn had been having an 18-month affair with a 24-year-old church intern and exchanged over 107,000 messages with her. His mistress texted about wanting Ashley dead. He allegedly texted about killing her and not going to jail. Apps were deleted from his phone hours before the killing. The jury took approximately two hours. Bob Motta and Robin Dreeke cover the mistress’s civil liability, the psychology of murder over divorce, the jury’s deliberation, and the digital trail.
