Cruising the South Pacific #BlindAbilitiesChannel
@clairerandall and I have never been on a cruise. You do make it sound really exciting. Have a lovely time. :) Oh and record some of that sea on its own if you get the chance in stereo too would be cool. I'm sure the Pacific Ocean has a specific sound all its own.
Have fun! It will be interesting to hear how your cruise progresses. It is something I have considered.

Some thoughts on airports and travel
Airports are fun! We ran into 3 ppl, all familiar with my small, out-of-the=way corner of New Mexico...in a small airport in Zambia no less! One even knew ppl we know! Small World. Safe journeys.
Neat to hear what you are seeing and feeling! Have a great adventure!
Safe travels, HT!!

Goodbye from St Petersburg
The other day I heard - for the first time in many years - the expression 'squeaky gate music', and it occurred to me that squeaky gates are actually quite interesting. What do you think? This is a recording of the squeaking doors at High St train station in Glasgow, heard from the standpoint of someone (me) loitering on the corridor-bridge that links the two platforms. This is my second audioboo recorded at this station. There are actually some squeaky doors on that one too, but more incidentally. Here they are in all their dissonant glory. Recorded Wed 8 September 2010 around 6.15pm.
