Interview with Victim of Burglary in Cumbria (September 2014)

#Burglary victim Sharon Mullen from Dalton has spoken out about how the crime has changed her life forever: "For quite some time, driving home I was very anxious because I thought 'I don't know what I'm going home to', which is silly really because you think they're not going to strike twice, but it's just there in your mind. You just can't switch it off."

She's come forward to tell her story as #Cumbria #Police has launched a week-long crackdown on domestic burglaries, robberies and acquisitive crime in South Cumbria.

Sharon has come forward to raise awareness of preventative measures people can take to reduce the risk of burglary. You can hear Sharon's full story as she spoke to The Bay's Amy Scarisbrick.
