Confidence building important for reconciliation in South Sudan

Increasing trust between the population in #SouthSudan is vital for achieving reconciliation, the UNMISS head of field office in Bor, Jonglei, said today.

Speaking to the Breakfast show on Radio Miraya, Ms Deborah Schein, said reconciliation is extremely important; stressing the need for people to understand what has happened and come to terms with their differences.

She noted that a gradual process of reconciliation can be achieved when people start to meet, interact and trust each other.
